Welcome to The Globe Inn

Located in Herston on the NW edge of Swanage, The Globe Inn is a traditional 19th Century Dorset inn, with the tenancy recently (May 2024) acquired by a group of local residents.

The pub has been completely refurbished and redecorated to provide a clean, cosy and welcoming environment. We have also started the process to restore our beautiful large garden back to its full glory. We are very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time and hope you will pay us a visit to see for yourselves.

Children and dogs with their responsible parents/owners are most welcome.

In chillier times you will be welcomed by the warmth, smell and crackle of our open fires.

We have completely refreshed our lager, cider and keg ale offering to include Pravha, Staropramen, Madri, Cruzcampo, Thatchers Gold and Haze, Aspall’s Cyder, Guinness and Landlord and Doom Bar keg ales. We will be extending our keg ale offering over the next few weeks.
We are also pleased to offer an original and quality selection of wines all at reasonable prices that we believe is unrivalled.

We have not overlooked non-alcoholic and low alcohol options with a selection of lager, cider, Guinness and gin products available.

If you are looking for the best place to watch live sport, the Globe Inn is your home from home. We have Sky Sports and TNT showing on two HD televisions in the bar, with a further two screens in our garden for special events. However outside of specific events you will only find unobtrusive chilled background music.
